About Our Director
Sara Sanger lives in Clarkston with her husband Steve (also an actor with Clarkston Village Players),along with two dogs and two cats. They have seven children between the two of them, and three grandchildren. Recent acting roles at CVP include Lexie in The Dixie Swim Club, Ida in Morning’s at Seven, Cindy Savage in Self Help, Aunt Julia in Lend Me a Tenor and Izzy in Kitchen Witches. Her directing experience includes assistant director for Fool for Love, producer/assistant director for Lend Me a Tenor, and director for Simpatico, The Underpants, and the May 2019 production of Out of Order. She has also done set dress (I Hate Hamlet, House on a Cliff) and props/costumes (The Attempted Murder of Peggy Sweetwater, Dead Certain, Lend Me a Tenor). Sara served on the CVP Board of Directors as Vice President (2014), President (2015-16) and has served as Publicity Chair since 2015. Sara is also President of the board of Clarkston Cultural Arts Council. She recently retired from a 20-year career in the transportation logistics industry and is looking for a new work opportunity.
